Towards the end of 2025, the storage container on the site was transformed into a stunning piece of art. With the warmer weather finally here and the allotment coming back to life, we hope you’ve had a chance to see it.
The mural is a vibrant, colourful celebration of the wildlife and seasonal produce that make Pine Walk so special. As well as being uplifting to look at, it is now also much better protected and easier to clean.
A huge thank-you and shout-out to the talented local artist (and allotmenteer at another site in Bromley) James Titchner, who created this wonderful piece. His work can be spotted all over South East London, and we’re so pleased to have it right here on site.

The charity WE Dig Trees has donated nearly 100 tree "whips" of a variety of native trees as part of a nationwide campaign to plant millions of trees, creating biodiverse pocket forests across the UK. These are all hedgerow and pollinator friendly and include crab apple, blackthorn (sloes), rowan, dog rose, alder, hawthorn, hazel and elder. The trees are slowly being planted around the site and a good number are already growing around the new green waste area in the middle of the allotments.
A big THANK YOU to We Dig Trees.
